In this entertaining non-technical, presentation Mr. Auxt shows how chords and key signatures are actually mathematically tied together. He discusses the technical differences between music (harmony) and noise (dissonance). This presentation also includes some fascinating discoveries that illustrate the awesome design of human ears. Although the presentation clearly shows that there is absolutely a difference between music (harmony) and noise (dissonance), the ultimate decision of musical “taste” can still be somewhat subjective. Mr. Auxt closes this presentation with a discussion on spiritual maturity; comparing the “right” to have various musical tastes with our “responsibility” to respect our brother's spiritual well being (Romans 14:21).
